My 3DS XL needs a new battery but Nintendo's Amazon store only has original 3DS ones which are not the same and I don't trust random 3rd-party companies I've never heard of... I can get a battery from Nintendo's own website, but the shipping would take longer... or I could go ahead and upgrade to a New 2DS XL... I'd miss the 3D, but also the New 3DS XL costs more and has some quite honestly bullshit design decisions (who in the actual fuck wants to unscrew the entire battery cover just to change the SD card?) But then if I get a new system, then I have to go through the system transfer shit and get all anxious about if I'm doing it in the exact right way to keep my Animal Crossing town and everything else... I don't know why Nintendo makes system transfer be a thing; it just makes me NOT want to buy a new system.

Also I wanna get a Switch BEFORE Pokemon gen 8 comes out because that's gonna be in the fall, which also = Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Christmas, which means expect everywhere to run out of stock...
